Salt Lake Carving Show

Hey everyone!

I just thought I'd get the word out about the 2012 Great Salt Lake Woodcarvers show going on this weekend! It will be at Wheeler Farm on Friday and Saturday (23rd-24th) and is going to be great. I will sadly not be there this year because I will be in Washington assisting the BYU Ballroom Dance team with the light suits I helped construct for them. Even so, every show that I have been to hasn't been a disappointment at all.

Details can be found at the Great Salt Lake Woodcarvers website.

Bring your family, you won't be disappointed!

X-Post: LoudCufflinks

When I started S.H. Carving, I quickly became aware of many other small businesses being conducted in the area or by close friends of mine. Every now and then I'd like to spread the word, because we can all give each other a little help now and then right?

LoudCufflinks is fairly new to the scene, but has enjoyed much success in social commerce websites such as Etsy. It was started by a roommate of mine, Geoff Scott, who I met in my Sophomore year of College. His cufflinks are a great quality and the variety that he supplies is wonderful, I am always amazed at what new designs he has to offer.

I think his business motto says it the best: "Why pay $60.00 for lame, boring cufflinks when you can pay a sixth the price and get cufflinks that don't suck?"

Give his Etsy & Facebook pages a look and see if there is anything there that you like, and feel free to tell your friends!
